The Cádiz Free Trade Zone incubator now has a total of 63 emerging companies and opens a call for permanent access
Seventeen new ventures join the Blue Economy technology incubator, Incubazul, through its fourth call and thus enter the comprehensive acceleration program, opened by the Cadiz Free Zone, with the support of Telefónica and its Open Future platform.
These new initiatives will form part of the ecosystem of the technological incubator of the Zona Base project and are added to the 46 that are already inside, with which there will be a total of 63 entrepreneurial initiatives, with very different profiles, but all related to the blue economy and high technology.
It should be noted that in this call many startups use technology as the basis of their solutions: IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data or Machine Learning. Other Blue Economy initiatives focused on aquaculture, blue tourism, marine technology or renewable energy also access the incubator.
Incubazul has the support of the European Union that co-finances it, through the Incyde Foundation, of the Chambers of Commerce of Spain, 80% for the FEATHER within the 2014-2020 Plurirregional Operational Program within axis 3: Improving the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies and the 3rd investment priority Promotion of entrepreneurship, in particular, facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas, and promoting the creation of new ones companies, also through incubators.

The chatbots created by Chatfy are designed to interact with users effectively, offering useful information and solving their doubts about Cádiz province or concerns quickly and efficiently. Unlike conventional applications, Chatfy is linked to conversational environments that are used daily, to obtain the information that is needed, quickly, easily, at a very low cost and in a sustainable way (reduction of carbon footprint and waste, awareness environment and promotion of sustainable tourism).
Broodbreast
Industrial insect farm to convert them into a source of food and a resource for aquaculture.
Breeding and distribution of the insect Tenebrio Molitor (mealworm), providing a high-quality, natural, protein-rich food source. Development of nutritional solutions from insects, their bioconversion into high quality nutritional products. In order to face the challenges of nutrition in the aquaculture sector, insect protein is increasingly positioned as a new natural and sustainable resource, capable of satisfying the needs of each species.
D&Btech
Design and commercialization of microalgae production systems on an industrial scale and water purification with microalgae.
It is focused on the design of industrial equipment that handles liquids, gases or mixed fluids. Specifically, they have specialized in the cultivation and purification with microalgae, and other equipment used in water companies, the chemical, food and aquaculture industries. They have their own recently patented technology for mixing systems for biological reactors and other technologies.
Fleet Planner
Platform that allows to know the traceability in real time of merchandise, documentation and information related to transport for route optimization.
The project integrates all the latest technologies applicable to the transport sector, coordinating through a data warehouse elements that are currently individualized, supported by AI integrations for process automation. By doing fewer empty kilometers and adjusting the appropriate routes, it will lead these companies to lower their polluting emissions.
GoAhead
Company that develops adaptable, ergonomic and recyclable gas storage tank prototypes for diving.
Development of a high-pressure gas storage tank, using the new technology patented by Go Ahead Engineering. With the design and development of the tank, named AIRGOLUNG, they want to revolutionize the world of scuba diving, since AIRGOLUNG's main feature is being able to take an adaptable morphology and therefore more ergonomic. AIRGOLUNG would be manufactured in composite materials and could become recyclable.

Digitization of hammock areas on beaches, beach clubs, hotels and resorts.
This is the only union in the tourism sector that is not digitized with all the problems that this entails, since the tourist is 100% digital, searches for information and makes all his reservations through the internet. But when it comes to reserving a hammock you have no options, you just have to get up early and be lucky to find an empty hammock. The initiative aims to put an end to this lack of digitization.

MandalaBlue Yoga
Yoga studio born in front of the sea in Indonesia and now moved to the coast of Cádiz.
It offers different types of yoga, retreats, training and water therapies. The objective of the project is to improve the positioning of Tarifa (Cádiz) as a world reference destination in the practice of meditation, yoga and healthy living. It seeks the creation and maintenance of local employment, the promotion of education and care for the environment. Allocate 5% of the rate to the protection of the oceans.
MST Adventures
Platform dedicated to the intermediation of adventure activities, many of them in the water.
Its main objective is to facilitate exciting and safe experiences for adventure lovers, while supporting local adventure and tourism companies. The startup connects users with a wide variety of activities such as hiking, rafting, climbing and many more, allowing them to book experiences quickly and easily. In addition, it offers relevant and useful information about each activity to ensure that users are well informed before their adventure.

Circular economy company that promotes the recycling of industrial discharges into the sea, encapsulates them and makes them biodegradable.
Project that recycles industrial waste and through a patented process transforms it into a bioabsorbent and encapsulant for all types of hydrocarbons, vegetable and mineral oils. The resulting product is natural, organic, biodegradable, hydrophobic and innocuous. It also protects the environment against all kinds of spills in the sea, rivers, lakes and soils.
Rocco U
Rocco U provides training on global connectivity, including maritime roaming, to support companies and entities in the marine sector.
It focuses on providing specialized training to businesses or people interested in the telecommunications sector, connectivity and digital transformation, 5G networks, among others. The objective is to support at an educational level those businesses especially focused on the blue economy.

ecotourism company based on experiences around nature, heritage, gastronomy and culture of the province of Cádiz, particularly the coastal area and the salt flats.
SoleaHeat
Startup that manufactures innovative solar thermal collectors that concentrate solar radiation and integrates them with heat transfer circuits in client facilities.
With this system, SOLEAHEAT sells turnkey energy solutions and auxiliary services to supply process heat at medium temperature (between 100 and 250 °C) that avoids emissions and variable costs associated with fuel consumption. It offers an alternative to fuels, contributes to the decarbonisation of thermal demand and provides low-cost heat for industries such as aquaculture and salt mines.
South Save
Leisure project based on innovative technology for the creation of artificial waves aimed at surfing, sport climbing and skateboarding.
sports and tourism leisure project based on a unique technology in the world of the Spanish company Wavegarden. It promotes a facility that brings together the three new Olympic sports. The facilities will have a C.A.R. (High Performance Center) which will be the first dedicated to these three new Olympic disciplines. The facilities will have a parking lot for motorhomes and campers and a Glamping model accommodation area. All in a self-sustainable, ecological environment and without any environmental impact.
Universal SEAnergy
Universal SEAnergy is a technology-based startup built around a wave power generation device, or wave energy.
SEAnergy is a start-up company, intensive in R&D, whose main objective is to design, create and consolidate an innovative model of renewable, simple, accessible and low-cost marine energy generation. In order to stage new alternatives that help reduce the current energy crisis and contribute directly to decarbonisation in Europe, as one of the main challenges of the European Green Pact.
